Star Trek Ships made of paper

Star Trek News

You all should know by now that some of my hobbies just look weird to some people. So I guess you won't be wondering about me interested in Origami. Folding paper can be so relaxing and makes you forget about your problems really fast Smiley.

On my research for the right material and some folding instructions I found some really interesting ones that you can find here (don't worry, the instructions are in English). On the right you will see a list of all instructions that site has and among them there are a Borg Cube, the Prometheus and a Bird of Prey. The instructions look quite complicated, but maybe you are a bit more advanced than me?

I wish you a lot of fun with folding the models!!!

Star Trek News Yesterday at the age of 85 James Doohan who played the character of Scotty in TOS passed away. He said goodbye to his fans last August after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer. Whyknot had the information a bit earlier than me so you can find a longer text about this (sad) news item in the forums.

News: This is what you voted for

Posted by Admin on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 (1716 Reads)

Star Trek News You might remember our last poll which ended at the beginning of this month. I asked all of you what crew the next Star Trek movie should be with. There were 60 votes on the poll so I think the results might be quite representative.

The graphic shows the results quite good. So most of you would like the next movie to be with the DS9 crew or the Enterprise crew followed by the Voyager crew. I guess this might as well be the ranking if I'd ask what your favourite series is. As to the question of having a completely new crew I can just see that 4 of those who voted don't seem to like the idea of doing another movie with one of the crews from the series. This might indeed be a very interesting project!

Thanks for everyone who took part in the poll! I hope you will as well vote on the current polls that you find on the left and the right side of the page.

Regarding a next Trek movie I can just say I heard rumors there is one in planning status, but I couldn't find it confirmed so far. So let's see what Paramount will do!
