Question

Answer

Why are there Amazon banners next to the reviews?

The Amazon links... OK, I am an affiliate of Amazon.de, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com. That means that I get some money if you click on those banners and buy the book there. And that way I'm allowed to have covers on my website.
The money I earn that way I will use for the website (webspace, maybe a little drawing from time to time ;-) )

Can I add an item?

Yes, you can do that. You just have to put in the correct title, name of the author(s) (or DVD, VHS, PC game etc. for items that aren't books) and the correct ISBN number (or just 99999 if you don't have any number like that). I can then go and get the cover picture.
Send us reviews for every book that you think is worth reading. But the books should in some way fit the topic of this website...

I don't know all needed information of the item I want to add...

In that case I suggest the following:
1. Open a new window of your browser and go to www.amazon.com and search for the item. If they don't have it maybe www.closeup.de or www.elbenwald.de have it or you found it on another site that accepts affiliates, then tell me about it.
2. Browse the search results and click on the right one.
3. Scroll down a bit and copy and paste the ISBN/ASIN into the right field on the "Add an item" page.

That's all, of course you can find the name of the author of a book and the complete title that way, too.
