TOS: James Doohan died at the age of 85

Yesterday at the age of 85 James Doohan who played the character of Scotty in TOS passed away. He said goodbye to his fans last August after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer. Whyknot had the information a bit earlier than me so you can find a longer text about this (sad) news item in the forums.
